Psychotherapy Services for Children, Young People and Families in Leeds

Psychoanalytic psychotherapy for infants, children, teenagers and young adults experiencing emotional difficulties or challenges in their relationships.

Support from Birth to Early Adulthood

I work with children and young people up to age 26. The way we work together depends on their age and individual needs, and may involve parent-infant psychotherapy, play or talking therapy. I also offer psychotherapy for parents and carers.

Psychoanalytic psychotherapy for university and college students in Leeds who want space to explore anxiety, low mood, relationships, identity or other difficulties.

Support for Times of Transition and Change

Starting university or college, moving away from home and managing academic demands can bring up difficult feelings. Student psychotherapy offers a confidential space to talk about what you’re experiencing and consider it at your own pace. You don’t need to have a clear explanation of what feels wrong before getting in touch.

A space for parents and carers to explore their experience of parenting, their relationship with their child and difficulties affecting family life.

A Reflective Space for Parents

Parenting can bring up feelings and questions that are difficult to make sense of alone. Parent psychotherapy offers time to think about your own experiences and your child’s emotional world with a psychoanalytic psychotherapist. Sessions take place without your child present.

Psychoanalytic supervision and consultation for therapists, trainees and professionals working with children, young people and families.

A Space to Think About Clinical Work

I offer individual and group supervision, as well as consultation for teams. Whether you’re reflecting on ongoing clinical work, a particular case or the emotional demands of your role, supervision provides a space to think in depth with another professional. My approach draws on experience in NHS child and adolescent mental health and parent-infant services.
