Student Psychotherapy
Support for Times of Transition and Change
Being a student often brings major transitions — emotionally, socially, and psychologically. Whether you’re just starting university, returning for another year, or undertaking postgraduate study, it can be a time of growth as well as uncertainty. You may be managing new independence, academic pressure, homesickness, or complex feelings about your identity and relationships.
If you’re finding it difficult to cope or just feel that something isn’t quite right, psychoanalytic psychotherapy can help you explore and make sense of your experience with a trained professional — someone outside your day-to-day life.

Why Choose Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy as a Student?
Psychoanalytic psychotherapy offers a reflective space to understand the deeper emotional patterns that might be shaping how you feel, think, and relate to others. It can be especially helpful if you find that current challenges link back to earlier life experiences, or if you're struggling with things that feel hard to put into words.
This approach may support you with:
Depression, anxiety, OCD, and eating difficulties
Concerns around identity, gender, or sexuality
Trauma (including relational and developmental trauma)
Personality difficulties and longer-term emotional struggles
Difficulties in family, friendships, or intimate relationships
Isolation, bullying, or struggles with peer groups
Navigating life transitions and personal growth
